	I think this song also makes reference to the first Gulf War and the brutal bombings issued unneccessarily to the heart of baghdad, its definitely a cry out against war.

	It cannot be about the Gulf War. It came out in '90, while the Gulf War was '91.

	It sounds reminscent of the mentality about war that existed up until after World War I; that war is a game and something that is good. The war tactics and technology in this sound like something from one of the World Wars; battles of attrition were especially common in WWI.
