| *beats head against desk* Dear gods, I don't know what's wrong with me. You were talking about Sean, and I was thinking Derek. Gah! I'm sorry, you're right, Sean has an 'unstable' relationship with his parents (they're doing better now than they have in years), but yeah he had it pretty bad growing up. It's Derek who's close to his mom. Okay, now that I've clarified that, please feel free to chuck blunt objects at my head for my original stupidity. | |

| I can kind of relate to this song because i belive in god and jesus, but I can never seem to find a church that isn't full of people who are just going to save themselves from "the wrath of satan". and not because they have faith. | |

| No, the lyrics definately are NOT aimed toward Sean's parents, lol. Sean and his mom are really close. It's most likely not meant toward anyone in particular, but just trying to say that the religious population isn't as innocent as they pretend to be. | |

| this song isn't saying that ALL the people who go to church are evil and hypocrits. it's just that some people use religion as an excuse and use it so they can be "forgiven" so they can do what they want. some people are just religious nuts. | |

| i LOVE this song!!! what i got out of it was that everyone's going around telling people how to live their lives, and the people that are doing that are the people that are the most messed up. like everyones yellin at him and stuff, and they feel sorry for him cuz they think he's 'goin down the wrong path' or whatever, but he's not the one doin all the crap that they're tellin him not to do. the scars remind us that the past is real | |

| I love this song, purely because it reflects my views on religion. The song is not stating that all religious people do evil things; it's just showing that being a member of a church or believing in God does not make you a good person. There's plenty of hypocritical churchgoers around, and that's what the song is saying. x | |

| Religion itself has been known to pull people apart- I dont agree with it, but I do beleive in christianity. Anyways- I think it is true though. There are so many hypocrates who think they are good people only because they go to churh every sunday | |
