| Well you can look at it more then one way. I beleive he wrote it about a drug addiction however you can also say its about a person. Most likely drugs if you listen to specific lyrics like "even though i cant see clear" the drugs have effected him. He turns to drugs when the world is too mucha nd feels comforted by them. | |

| His whole life is falling apart and the only way for him to cope is to drink or do drugs and that makes him feel better. But then later in the song he starts to doubt the alcohol/drugs and thinks maybe they are what's ruining his life. | |

Its about how shitty the world, and life in general can be, and about how people aren't always there for you. Its about how drugs, more specifically alcohoel can make you feel good, when nothing else can. "You get me through all of my days And keep me numb to the pain!!" | |
