| Great song. the meaning is pretty obvious. he fell in love with this girl, but the entire time she was just leading him on. the relationship ended really bad, either he found out she was cheating or she told him she doesnt feel the same as he does, and breaks up with him. idk, it could be anything. once again, great song. :) | |

| This is my firs time listening to SES, you can tell that this song is really personal and thats what makes it so powerful. This song is almost like a written betrayal of love, how he trusted someone to let them into his innermost self and then was hurt when he realised the person [whom he wrote about] wasnt as commited as he was. This song relates to heaps of people because at one time or another, someone has been hurt by someone they loved. its a song journal, hes trying to let go of someone who he has had in his heart, but he knows it will take along time so its the frustration of not being able to move on, its beautiful. | |

| Wow, you guys, I think that you are entirely missing the point of this song, it's a song about self-loathing. Your not casting the blame so much on the person that did what they did to you, you place it upon yourself for allowing it to happen. You knew that they were a mistake, or that they had done something in the past. And yet you stayed and tried to make things work. You hate yourself for saying that it would never happen to you again and it did. It's a song that I can relate to all to well. It's about resulting to cutting yourself for allowing yourself to be "taken in" again. | |
