Heck of a stretch this if your a beginner or have got small hands,

| I am probably just repeating comments made by other people (i am lazy and don't feel liek reading them all) but just bare with me... it seems to me this song is about two people who where in a relationship, broke up and then hooked up again. I get the immpression that they are torn betweeen what they want (eachother) and what is best for them in the long run. [It's easier to lie and be safe Time and time again I'm half stalled] and, [Just say you love me now And forget this whole row Just save your energy For making up with me ] I also think that they have talked to their friends and asked what they should do and no one knows. [One giant leap of faith is easy when everyone you ask is so sure]... i dont really know thats just my take on it. | |

| i can't believe no one has commented yet. SUCH a gorgeous song, and it is such a simple idea, the boy and girl, theme i think it;s about a guy and a girl who lvoe each other but have had a row about the fact that she won't commit because she's scared... i think. well it's what it says to me anyhow. lol | |

| Imo, they have just spent the night together. It's the morning after and they are remembering all the hundreds of reasons that they shouldn't have done it. Maybe they keep doing this, and maybe the "get caught" bit is because one of them, or both, is already in a relationship? He wants to care for her - give her the blanket (common metaphor for protection), but he doesn't want to care too much because its the morning after - the passion is no longer there but has instead been replaced by guilt and a confused feeling of what happens next. Just my initial reaction to the lyrics, could be totally wrong! | |
