| mike ness is so amazing. and I have the live version, which I kind of like the lyrics of a little bit better. They're kind of incoherable at some parts, but I know the first verse is "Welfare mother, drink yourself to sleep While silently your children weep When you coming home dad? I don't know when The county's gonna take us away again I don't care about what they say I ain't gonna die that way Welfare mother drink yourself to sleep While silently your children weep" BOTH versions are freakishly excellent =] | |

| has anyone heard the live version of this its heaps different nd at the beginning he says "in this contry you need a license to drive and hunt and fish but you need nothing to bring a child into this world" and the other song has a theme of amum drinking and the kids crying waiting for their dad or sumthing like that i have no idea why they changed it but im pretty sre they only mde the changes when they recorded it | |
