ok lets be honest this song rules and anyone who owns the album must be gagging to
play this really catchy riff. so i tried to tab it and this is what i came up with!

drop D tuning (DADGBE)

INTRO-lightly strummed
|-----------------------------------------------------------
|-----------------------------------------------------------
|-6-6-6-6--5-5-5-5-----------3-3-3-3------------------------
|-6-6-6-6--5-5-5-5--7-7-7-7--3-3-3-3------------------------
|-4-4-4-4--3-3-3-3--7-7-7-7--1-1-1-1------------------------
|-------------------7-7-7-7---------------------------------

CHORUS-i think this is palyed with a keyboard or a second guitar with sound effects
peddle?

|-----------------------------------------------------------
|-----------------------------------------------------------
|-----------------------------------------------------------
|-8------11-10---11-8----11-10-11-13--11-10-----------------
|-8------11-10---11-8----11-10-11-13--11-10-----------------
|-8------11-10---11-8----11-10-11-13--11-10-----------------

i have no idea what the solo goes like and there are other little bits in the song
that ive missed but apart from that im pretty sure this is right.

The chorus is "Everytime I scream release I mean it - You know it Everytime I feel relief I feel the dirty black 7" I am interested in the meaning of this song, I can't really figure it out. Many of my interpretations are contradictory. Is it possible that he is making a reference to the seven deadly sins?

I think this song is about someone seperating them selves from a person who thinks they controll them
