| I think both gotterdam & hell_i_call_my_head have realy good points. My take is a mix of their ideas. To me it is about the classic battle of good nd wvil and he is leaning towards his dark side, but He also, as hell_i_call_my_head said, that he does in a sense view himself as god-like, meaning he is control and he realizes he is responisble for all of his sins. | |

| I think this song has two people talking to each other in it. One is Jesus, because he sacrificed himself for all sins that people commit. This is said in this part: I'm the man, I'm the king, I'm the one That's pure inside Everyday, everyway I smell of suicide Bitter sins how they grow within So you tell me it ain't right I AM...ALL SINS And you're my reason for life The other person, is the person persecuting Jesus, by throwing stones at him and then holding on to him, he persecutes the thing he wants to hold on to. Persecuting another Christian because they see something different in the religion. | |
