	I agree with ace..Long before I could even see You’re what was missing Twisting deep inside of me Forever missing the glistening I feel,.. Unreal. I think he is talking about loseing his faith in God, and despite the pain it brings he can never have his faith again

	I broke my toe in the mosh pit to this song =D soil rock although i dont like their new stuff so much =( i think this song's about being in a confusing relationship where the girl keeps knocking him down and then picking him up again and he finally ahs enough of it and dumps her but find out that he needed all that being knocked down and picked up again for him to become a better man so he begs her to come back and tries to show her hes sorry n everything n basicly changes his life for her and he's acknowledging that he didn't listen to her or let her help him in her own way n stuff. i dnno maybe im just takin the song n bending it so it fits in with my life. Either way that's ma opinion

	I personally think this song is about people losing faith because they dont get "answers" from god "Sat back gave your soul to me = prayer" "But did I listen God damn did I burn my hands = no response from god" "On what was missing, the glistening = people realizing it" "I feel,.. Unreal = no longer getting worshipped" i dunno maybe i'm thinking too deep but makes good sense to me

	I can't here him saying 'with' in the chorus at all, just "You fucked me", but I'll trust you guys because you know better than I do. It could work either way though. I reckon the 'garden' is like a garden of Eden metaphor. Lots of religious imagery in Soil lyrics, although he's not necessarily singing about religion, although that said I think this one could be about someone's lack of faith in God. It's mainly the 'burned my hands on what was missing' and 'there's a spot of light in me' lines that make me think that. This is my favourite song on the album by far.

	This is a great song. At first I got a very angry impression from it, but less so as I listen to it more. Might have to do with not being able to feel love when it's there. Maybe he took advantage of someone and realises that he is wrong, wants forgiveness, but he also knows what he is capable of so he cant let them trust him again.
