| it seems like this song is borne of pain. he knows that someone is torn about leaving him,(Do you wanna leave or somethin) and he wants her to stay, (I wanna feel you breathe me) but he knows that in the end she will leave. (Cuz I know someday I'll see you walk out that door) eventually, he just cant take the pain of her indecission(I can't take this anymore ). so in the end, all he has is the knowlege that she at least always has the way to get back to him, and the same goes for him. i dont know if that made sence, but its what i hear when i listen to the song, its a good one | |

| I love this song. I think it is about a "relationship" that isnt working beacause of the distance between them because they live a long way away from each other, the fact that she dosnt feel for him the same way and the fact that they are both afraid of being hurt. I think he is very much in love with her but cant stand the distance between them, even though the see each other every now and they are on an intimate level with each other they both know a relationship couldnt happen while there is so much distance between them - "Fall all around us on our hotel floor And you think that you've made a mistake " I also think its kinda a one side relationship, while they both feel for each other and are happy together maybe she dosnt feel as much for him as he feels for her ("I can't take this anymore Cuz I know someday I'll see you walk out that door") and he relises that she dosnt feel the same about him (" And I write a letter, from a one-way train But i don't think you'll read it at all ") And they are both hesitant about what to dobecasue they are both afraid of being hurt and they are both afriad of hurting one another ("I wanna hang onto something That won't break away or fall apart Like the peices of my heart"). In the end she dosnt accept that fact that he loves her or that love even exist (" why wont you belive me" ) and as a result she keeps pulling away (" do you wanna leave or something") Maybe all sheneeds is answers. | |

| sorry if this isn't the first time this has been asked cause i didn't read the other messages, but has anyone noticed that he hits a wrong note in the 4th count of the 3rd verse, right after he says "dreams came around you in a hazy rain"? i just thought it was kinda cool cause it makes the music seem more real to me like it's not all totally perfected to the point where the musicians seems almost god-like and can't make mistakes ever. | |

| This song is up there with Konstantine and Hurricane as one of the best by Something Corporate, but when i first heard it the emotion totally blew me away, even more than Konstantine. Now as i look at the lyrics i think that the song is about a failed relationship that had one final rendezvous after going their seperate ways ("[Light] Fall all around us on our hotel floor"). He wants to stay together but sees the same signs of the past relationship that tell him it won't work out ("globes and maps I see surround you here, Why won't you believe me? ") and he wants to break it off ("I write a letter, from a one-way train But i don't think you'll read it at all") but she wants to stay together even if he is leaving. | |

| this song is enough to make me cry. "I wanna hang onto something That won't break away or fall apart Like the pieces of my heart." true, a little cliched but its used so well.. "i wanna feel you breathe me." this is what makes EMO .. EMO. pop music can never master the feeling you can input into 6 words. undoubtedly one of the best songs off of the new SoCo cd. | |
