	Ahem. At Warped, they played this song. Andrew said that it was about Josh and how his ex-girlfriend was a "fucking whore" and cheated on him (Josh) for ages. I would say something about how amazing they were, but there's no words to say it. Now that I've made a total geek of myself..

	nodnod Like Freestyle said, it's about a guy who's in love with a girl, and she doesn't return his feelings. But it seems to me that although he still has feelings for her, he's not terribly thrilled with her. My reasoning: the first part of the chorus is not the nicest thing you could say to someone, "if I die, I won't be the one who sticks around," but the second part is sort of giving in, "if I'm awake, I won't let you down." Though this could also be interpreted as saying, " if I'm not going to be alive with you at all, I won't bother hanging around for you, but if I'm still here, then I'm not going to stop pursuing you." Sort of a spinoff of the prayer, 'if i die before I wake,' that sort of thing.

	Here is a thought ...Maybe he is talking about an Ex...and he sees her with another guy and wonders if wasn't good enough..."Does he make everything match better? Bring you all the shiny weather that you want And is he everything everything I'm not " ...He is unhappy with out her but he is glad he isn't the one who will let her down...But if she was with him he still wouldn't let her down...This might just be a song about how much she ment to him...But i'm not sure..i just love listening to it and analizing it...The Sound of this song is so feelingful (ya that's a made up word) It reminds me of things i've been through ...i guess i can relate.

	i very much agree its about a guy whos driving himself crazy over a girl who doesnt feel that way. he thinks that if he leaves she will realize that all the material things and people that keep them apart aren't real, and she'll realize that he's there for her. but he figures with his luck he'll die on journey away from her, and she'll realize all this but he won't be able to be there because he'll be dead, thus forcing him to break his one promise to her which is to 'let her down'

	what can i say? this song is amazing. the guy is pouring his heart out to a girl and sacrificing everything just for her not to feel the same way. i know there are millions of people who've felt like this. he constantly worries about her, asks about her, starves for attention from her, and she won't give him what he needs to live. this song makes me cry. it's beautiful

	i'm seeing it a little differently that you do... i'm thinking... he's in a relationship with a girl who he has feelings for, but he doesn't want to be with her anymore. he finds out too hard to leave, so he's thinking about what would happen if he died, he wouldn't "let her down" by ending the relationship, but he wouldn't have to deal with her and the cheating she has done/is doing on him. just my thoughts.

	I don't think it's all that severe.... i think there's someone in this person's life who he cares about but she's making it tough for him, so he's about ready to just leave and go off and start over. Sometimes you realize it's time to move on. I anticipated it to be a slower sad song, but I think in it's faster tempo I realized the actual meaning of the song.
