Sonic Youth - Drunken Butterfly

Tuning: F#F#GGAA

This tab may sound *** when you play it yourself but add bass,
another guitar, drums and vocals and it will sound perfect.

INTRO: The intro is just a heap of string noise (mutes, rakes
and pick slides). I got the right sound by sliding the pick up
and down the strings furiously...rest your fret hand on top of
the strings to prevent the strings from ringing.

VERSE 1
Guitar 1:
A-------------------------------------------------------------
A-------------------------------------------------------------

SOLO
Both guitars? No strumming shown
A ------------------|-----------------------------------------

G ---11--12---x2----|---16--17---x2---------------------------
G ---11--12---------|---16--17--------------------------------

VERSE AFTER CHORUS
Guitar 1
I think just plays some rythmn, try 1st fret on the F#s or maybe
just open f#s.

Guitar 2
A -----------------------------------------------------------
A -----------------------------------------------------------
G ---20--17--19----17--19b-----------------------------------
G -----------------------------------------------------------
F#-----------------------------------------------------------
F#-----------------------------------------------------------

After this I think there is some sort of slide stuff followed by 2
monster pick slides before the music is the same as the first verse.

I think its about a guy telling a girl he loves her just so he can screw her... he doesnt really care about her, he just wants to get in her knickers.
