I love this song to death. I first heard it in a Toy Machine skate video called "Welcome to Hell". This was my introduction to Sonic Youth. I think this song is about wanting more than what you have. Knowning something is missing in your life, and taking a guess at what you need/want.

ha ha kim and thurston make out in this clip. steve is great walking around with the periodic table (like a map) and eating pizza on the street corner and lee renaldo making that scarf . they are all so cute. this has to be my fave sonic youth clip. about the name, i thourght it was called titanium expose because on the demo someone from geffen thought that it said it somewhere in the song and so then thats what they called it. but yeah its a love song
