	This is one of my favorite Soundgarden songs. These lyrics are obvious. He's been giving it all and receiving nothing. I love this song. Chris is the best vocalist EVER.

	Agree with the idea of a one-sided relationship. But just have to say, this is by far one of the most amazing vocal performances. He sings every line amazingly in this song.

	i partially agree with the people saying its about a bad relationship, but it's a relationship with Jesus, or more broadly, religion (which is often a subject of chris' lyrics) like putting so much into it, and getting nothing back ('virgin eyes' could also be a reference to virgin mary). i came to this conclusion when b4 the live version chris said it was dedicated to Jesus Christ, and half-way through the song he sings "jesus is my friend".

	Maybe the best song ever... tied with Limo Wreck for best vox ever easily. Its about not taking sh*t anymore and how powerful asserting your rights as an individual can be.

	I don't have anything really new to add. I agree with those who think that it's about a one sided relationship that the other person is just finally tired of. But I have to say that this is by far the most underrated Soundgarden song out there. Cornell just goes crazy on this person who's screwed him over.
