This song has reverberated round my head since I first heard it when it first came out. Did anyone see the video to it? Simple but effective. Black/Brown and white. Just of the band playing and Chriss looking very constipated while singing. Great.

This song is amazing...so deep and depressing. Might be my favorite soundgarden song, but then again i love them all.

Can I say...what would we do without music? It helps so many of us get by.

"Whatsoever I've feared has come to life Whatsoever I've fought off became my life" To me this song is about self-inflicted wounds; making the very mistakes that he tried so hard not to make. "Whomsoever I've cured I've sickened now Whomsoever I've cradled I've put you down" And in making these mistakes, he has hurt the ones he loves most.

One of my fav Soundgarden songs. I think its just about those times when you're down and just can't get up, and it seems like you'll never be truly happy again. - "I sure don't mind a change But I fell on black days How would I know That this could be my fate"

It's about Chris being ihappy, and spreading the happiness before he discovered something that put him into depression and as he shared it with others, they too became depressed.

beautiful song.. i think chris wrote this song at the lowest of his lows... He seems to be reaching out to people but just damaging himself worse
