| i have to commend you on getting all the lyrics. i can't even understand half of them. guess i'll have to wait another week for the cd to come out, and hopefully have lyrics printed in the liner notes like in the ep, eh? | |

| this is one of sparta's more upbeat songs the bridge do you owe this? I am what you thought you were can you pay it? what you've indebted you're back and forth, you're the lottery is awesome im not quite sure what this song means. i guess its kind of like people arent true to themselves and we live in a world of finnicky fuckers heh | |

| I would have to say that Sparta's lyrics are just not up to par with At the Drive-In or The Mars Volta. I mean, okay, they're all right if he's streamlining, but otherwise... I fail to see any meaning behind much of these songs. | |

| Arms open i've just broken in through a crack in long division can we make a decision, without confusion? seemed something, that became nothing at all what happened to the old and stable? when the powers that be fail and heads will roll someday low notes fade away and go true and stale! true and stale! somewhere words dont crater in at all currents slipstream and greenlights on the right these miles hold an infinite time old enough to remember and forget precursor tide turning foundation shakin away its a matter of time and distance..... and tested opinions to force a change someday low notes fade away and go true and stale! true and stale! somewhere words dont crater in at all someday low notes fade away and go true and stale! true and stale! somewhere words dont crater in at all do you owe this? I am what you thought you were can you pay it? what you've indebted you're back and forth, you're the lottery do you owe this? I am what you thought you were can you pay it? what you've indebted you're back and forth, you're the lottery i'm pretty sure there wasnt a 3rd verse to this song but who knows how this song came out the 1st draft i personally believe that this song is about optimism that good things come from inner conflict and sans cosm (without conflict) you lose hold of your edge in mentality | |

| Then you're not digging deep enough- in terms of crypticness Sparta's lyrics are no different than At the Drive-In's. *You* get what *you* want out of a song- that way no song is every truly meaningless, you're just failing to see how it pertains to you. | |
