| I look at this song as a relationship that was once great but then turned to shit. One person loved the other very strongly and felt that they would always last "Once I thought this life was never ending" But as time passes they see the person for just being cold and heartless in the inside and they were nothing more then good looking "Your just a motherfucking sight to see" Once they finally realize they've gone wrong by choosing that person and eventually lose them, they try to be the strong one who is able to move on no matter how much it hurts that they lost them "I will sew the hole you left inside me Leaving you in the past I will release" | |

| I thought this song was about a parent/partner who was abusive but there wasnt a clear way out. Thats why i think more about a parent. 'You're the one who steals the life from I'm the one who feels the falling' As if the parent fights with him to releave stress but then the writer gets it instead. 'Everything is so fake' As if the parent had told him to act good and nice around other people when its not that way at all. Another reason it could be a parent is because when he says Soon you'll be the one who is forgotten It's so close but it's so far away It could mean hes waiting until he can move out and forget it all. 'You're just a motherfucking accident Offending yet amusing' After a while if your of a strong character in general you realise people like the one being described are low and you realise you are suprior to them, all they do is offend, fight and attempt to destroy everything but you laugh because you eventualy find them pathetic. 'You're the one who fed the violence I'm the one who broke the silence' The parent may have been violent towards the writer but the writer realised it was wrong and told people what was going on in order to move on. It really is a brilliant song | |

| i can't believe no one has commented on this song, it was my instant favorite when i first heard SDP. it sounds a bit more comercial and poppy but the sound and emotion is till the same. the meaning is a recuring theme for spineshank in this case over a person who has betrayed or hurt the author. "Soon you'll be the one who is forgotten" sounds like the singer is coaxing himself to forget and let go. the breakdown say it all "I will sew the hole you left inside me, leaving you in the past, i will release" just being in that place where your recovering from damage done by another person and telling yourself you'll make it without the missing piece. | |
