They kinda do just some regular strokes on the strings with these cords...and the rhythm
G E
once insided the door I check my face in the mirror
C A
as I look past this lonely minute
G E
is this the ride worth waiting for I'm scared to
C A
death that now i've missed it
G E
she was not the only stone skipped across this gravel road
C A
leading down the path of loneliness
G E
so I'll fly from this hate and pray my soul the lord will take me
C A
to a place through time and indifference
A C G
I wanna know how do you feel
A C D
I wanna know if this was real
C G
so tell me what would you say
A C
if you could make this pain go away
she plans her future lookin bright ahead
leaves me in the past
I can't stand to hang out with my codependent friends
my patience is fading fast
but every sign in every song is tellin me that I don't belong
but its ok to feel scared
cause one day soon I'll find myself and realize that noone else
will make me feel stupid
I wanna know how do you feel
I wanna know if this was real
so tell me what would you say
if you could make this pain go away

theres this old man down in fellspoint
always hangin around
tellin me son the pendulum swings both ways
but for you it will always swing down
I wanna know how do you feel
I wanna know if this was real
so tell me what would you say
if you could make this pain go away
and then it does their little ending thing, that everyone likes to do
well this is my tab of a cool song... so if you don't like it... I really don't
piss off if you wanna try sendin in suggestions for makin this thing better...

| I gotta agree with you that this is a really good song! But I think is has to do with people moving ahead with their lives... possibly moving away: "She plans her future looking bright ahead Leaves me in the past." and that the writer wants eveything to be the way it used to be. "But every sign and every song is telling me I don't belong" SR-71 ROCK! | |

| This is such a good song I can't believe no one has commented on it. I think it is about a breakup and the guy is thinking back about the girl and how she won't be the only one he'll love "she's not the only stone skipped...." He knows it's the right move he is just looking for reassurance | |
