Lyrics:

I just can't seem to concentrate today
Seems my mind is wandering away
All these things swimmin through my head
Fade away when I go back to bed

And I close my eyes
See how fast time flies
Cause sunrise comes too soon

And I'm never out of bed before noon
And wakin up too late would be too soon
and I could never be Neil Armstrong
I'd be the last man on the moon

I used to live in a world of black and white
Until my dreams turned day into night

And I'm never out of bed before noon
And wakin up too late would be too soon
So I close my eyes
And wait for the suprise

In a place I know I be long
(In a place I know I be long)
In my head I can do no wrong
(In my head I can do no wrong)
And I could never be Neil Armstrong
I'd be the last man on the moon

Never out of bed before noon
And wakin up too late would be too soon
And I'm never out of bed before noon
And hide in the corners of my room

In a place I know I be long
(In a place I know I be long)
In my head I can do no wrong
(In my head I can do no wrong)
Who ever heard of an astronaut with one arm
I'd be the last man on the moon

The comparison between Neil Armstrong being the first man on the moon and saying "I could never be Neil Armstrong, I'd be the last man on the moon" is kinda neat. This song makes me think of the times when I just feel like sitting there, and wondering about aspects of life. You go to bed, as said in the song, and you seem to forget everything. I like this song ! "Waking up too late would be too soon" this is sooo true. I never feel like waking up when I actually have my eyes open, even if it's late, I just can't get myself to wake up...And the concept of being "The last on the moon", I think that means that you are lacking self-esteem...first of all, being on the moon is something that not many people will actually do, and being last, as in a loser. eneewaze, enough with my blabbering

This song is about depression from an obstacle in your life. The kid has one arm from the lines in the song. He dosen't want to face the morning because he has to face his limitations.
