Six o'clock in the morning
My head is ready to explode
I can't believe I made it home alive
I don't remember where I went
Or what I was drinking
But I know its made me sick
And i'm not denying
That I get this way
When I try to get over you
I get this way
When I try to get over you...
D Bb
Sometimes it hurts
G A
So much to lose the one you love
D Bb
Sometimes it hurts
G A
So much to lose the one you love
I try so hard to hate you
But it only makes things worse
I only end up hating myself
And as my hatred goes
So do the lies
It's hard to face the truth sometimes
God I feel so useless
God I hate myself
When I try to get over you
I hate myself
How will I ever get over you
D Bb
Sometimes it hurts
G A
So much to lose the one you love
D Bb
Sometimes it hurts
G A
So much to lose the one you love
And after all this time
You'd think I'd understand the way you feel
but no
D E
I only think about myself
F G Bb
And its driving you away
A
I always knew it would one day
D Bb
Sometimes it hurts
G A
So much to lose the one you love
D Bb
Sometimes it hurts
G A
So much to lose the one you love
D Bb
Sometimes it hurts
G A
So much to lose the one you love
D Bb
Sometimes it hurts
G A
So much to lose the one you love

| I recently lost the first girl I ever truly did love. I used to listen to this song when my g/fs would dump me. It helped me feel a little better... I came across this song by coincidence again after many years. Now I can once again listen to it and relate... | |

| yeah its simple its about somebody losing the person they love more then anything in the world and they start to drink too much and start doubting their selfworth and take risks that could take their life, and they do nothing but act like they don't have a problem. And because of this downward spiral the person that they love just keeps getting further and further away from them. I love the song its definatly my life | |

| If you have more than one true love, maybe you need to analyze what love really is. | |

| I'm not much of a stabbing westward fan, but I really like this song. I think it's meaning is pretty obvious. | |
