You Complete Me
Music: Stabbing Westward
Lyrics: Stabbing Westward
Tuning: Dropped-D, down one full step (low to high: C G C F A D)
The song starts with some weird synthesized percussion noises and then this part begins.
(a) Intro: play once
(i) play once

^let ring
(b) Chorus - play (i) twice, then (ii) once, then back to (i) once more.

That's about all that's to that song too. If you have any questions about the placing
of riffs, please
me and I'll be happy to help. As with most Stabbing Westward songs, and this one especially,
improv guitar
and feedback does wonders.

You Complete Me by Stabbing Westward
Tabbed by: Corey Quilliam
Tuning (C-G-C-F-A-D)
x=mute
b=bend
r=release on bend
==========
Harmonic parts are played throughout here, and a phase pedal
is used.
==========
|-------------------------------------------------|
|-------------------------------------------------|
|-------------------------------------------------|
|-------------------------------------------------|
|--12h13-12p10-0--12--x-x--x-12--0--12--x-x--x-12-|
|--12h13-12p10-0--12--x-x--x-12--0--12--x-x--x-12-|

--0--12--x-x--x-12--0--12--x-x--x-12h13-12p10-0|
--0--12--x-x--x-12--0--12--x-x--x-12h13-12p10-0|
Then that repeats twice or so. Phaser runs in background.
Every once in awhile harmoics come in for a very short
period. You should be able to figure out the notes they
should be at. I'm nowhere near my amp so I'm not telling you
now.
E-bow would work best here if you do it on guitar. These
notes hold for awhile. This is during the verse.

--4h5-5-4-5-4h5-4h5-3-3--12p10h12--10h12--10-12br-12p10-0|
--4h5-5-4-5-4h5-4h5-3-3--12p10h12--10h12--10-12br-12p10-0|
It does that twice except for that last part with the bend
which only comes in when the chorus is over. The harmonics in
the beginning of the chorus only occur in the beggining, I'm
sure of it.

of the way in the chorus keeps repeating and ends on that 5th
fret.)

| yanno this song relates alot to me and my current boyfriend... the others i always felt as if something was missing obviously or i'd still be with them and this song is just the perfect way to explain it all... really i feel the song is saying he's looking for someone to fill in the holes and he finally finds them and he's worried he is not worthy of them... overall this person is the one who makes all his dreams come true and she is the missing piece | |

| This song is great...I just heard it now and it's definitely one of my favorite songs by them. I can relate a lot...and some of you might think that what the song says is just saying something obvious about the person you care about...But to me it's beyond that. With all my ex-gf's there's always been some kind of problem/s but with my current gf there aren't any...at all...my group of friends and I often compare ourselves to a soap opera (believe me we fit REALLY well) but for once in my life I'm not a big part of the plot...I get to sit in the background and watch everyone else's problems because I have almost none of my own. I'm not really used to it but I'm sure not complaining either. She really has found a place in my heart that no one else has ever been. I feel content when she's around | |

| Yeh this song means a lot to me - kinda says the most obvious things about the person you love, but it's so obvious it's hard to find the right words to describe it... | |
