Ok, I love this song. Solo acoustic, and sounds great if you're ever stuck for something
to play that
sounds *exactly* like the original very easily. Just play Em(dropping D string) and
Am(dropping B string),
and in the last part
of the verse where you change back to Am, stop the strings, and 'walk' up to the 2nd fret
on the D string.
Chorus is basically just the same chords but barred higher up, and played normally.
--Chords--
Verse
Em - 022000
Em1- 020000
Am - 002210
Am1- 002200
Chorus
Em2 - 779987
B - 799877
Am2 - 577555
--Verse--
[Em/Em1]If you don't mind
Could we not fight?
I see you're close woman
In the night
I'm [Am/Am1]sober
Still a[Em/Em1]live
--Chorus--
[Em2]Must I always take a [B]back seat?
[Am2]Must I always be your [Em2]clown?
[Em2]Did you ever really [B]love me?
[Am2]Were you always coming [Em2]down?
The Outro's just a bit of palm-muting whilst hammering on Em and Am, then likewise higher
up like the
Chorus, ending on B. Listen to the song to get the feel of it, and have fun!
