	the title is wrong. its set phasers to stun. before i didnt really mean a random person, just someone not necessarily involved in a girlfriend/boyfriend relationship. now that i listen to it again, i changed my mind. i think it could be about a boy and girl who were broken up, one (lets say the girl) is now depressed and leads a sad, boring life, and the other (the boy) is trying to get her to get back together with him and come out of her loneliness. shes just not doing it though, probably because he hurt her. im way to lazy to go line by line, but look at it with that in mind and see if it makes sense

	this is most certainly one of my favourite songs on the album =) could someone possibly post a conglomeration opf all these posts as to the most correct complete lyrics for this song. thanks =)

	Avert_Disaster, yeah, some songs tie into Straylight Run, but I'm going to guess not all of them do. You could interpret anything in a certain way that ties it together, but that doesn't mean it's the intention of the writer. I highly doubt that Taking Back Sunday would focus their WHOLE album on Straylight Run. Also, Fred's not really a part of that whole debate, and he contributed to song-writing along with Adam. Some songs are about Straylight Run, yes, others aren't. Simple as that.
