Taking Back Sunday Spin Intro Guitar Tab

Artist: Taking Back Sunday
Song: Spin(Intro)
Album: Louder Now
Tuning: Half Step Down(Eb,Ab,Db,Gb,Bb,Eb)
Okay, so the other tab for this is pretty good,
and I give the credit to yourxtragedy for figuring
it out, but there is a much easier way to play
that intro. It goes a little something like this.
- Natural Harmonic
Eb---------------------------------------------------|x2
Bb-----------------------------------------------|
Gb-----------------------------------------------|
Db-------------------------------------------------------|
Ab-------------------------------------------------------|
Eb-------------------------------------------------------|
x3
Eb-----12--------------|---------------------------------|play
Bb---12--12-15p12------|---------------------------------|this
Gb-14------------14p12-|-14h16p14p12h14p12-11------------|whole
Db---------------------|---------------------------------|thing
Ab---------------------|---------------------------------|twice
Eb---------------------|---------------------------------|
Might as well include the variation for the bridge too...
Eb-----12----------12--------12--------------------------|
Bb---12--12-15p12------15--12----15p12-------------------|
Gb-14------------14--14--14----14------------------------|
Db-------------------------------------------------------|
Ab-------------------------------------------------------|
Eb-------------------------------------------------------|
And there you have it. I find that version
much easier to play than the other one.
Anything to say to me, send to SaintJimmy105@yahoo.com
Thanks, and please rate it.

My favorite off of Louder Now, tons of energy. I'm gonna go on a wing and say this is a bitter break up, and the girl wants to get back together but the dude just can't stand her

One word can describe this song: DUDE. This song absolutely rocks SO HARD. At the beggining you hear the drummer beating on all the drums and the guitar in the background and then it just hits you like: WHOOOOOOOSSHHHH! to describe the feeling it would be like youre listening to this in your car with your system up full blast and youre driving down the highway at like 150 miles an hour, weaving in and out of traffic evading the cops, and getting out of your car and running for ten miles through stores and hopping fences, and finally getting beat down. I think this songs about the maybe nots that we have in life, the "maybe shes not who i thought she was" or "maybe hes a lying SOB" those type of moments where you want to give people a chance and they only throw it back in your face, and it es you off to no end, and you just wanna break stuff and fly into a rage. Its about the chance you gave them so honestly. Its about telling them "you had your chance and now im gone so buh bye" sometimes you gotta get ed and let people know how you feel or theyre gonna walk all over you.

it's definitely "open arms reject assuming hands." that is unless the lyrics in the cd booklet are wrong.

i think its about a girl and a guy who have dated before. the girl wants to give it another whirl (sorry for the corniness but it reminded me of the word spin). he doesnt b/c she's had her chance. i think when he says the abortion part its like shes the one who is dead. like in whats it feel like to be a ghost. i like the part where they say u catch on quick b/c i def. think theyre being sarcastic b/c obviously this girl cant take the hint. and since cynics are sarcasatic when he says cynics stop b4 they give the same review means he's not giving her another chance. love the second verse. AMAZING.

I think he says : The abortion that you had left you clinically sad, and made it all that much easier to lie But that's nothing that I'm proud of (No, it's nothing that I'm proud of making an example out of you (This isn't faithful) This isn't you

I think this song is about being somewhere like on tour and just ignoring your problems at home; like maybe this girl has an abortion...and then you come home and try to fix everything, but it's like, "It's too late."
