I think this song is talking about a person that broke up with a girlfriend/boyfriend, and the broken heart that goes with a close relationship. But as the song goes through the person gets better and stronger.

THis song represents the full spectrum of a relationship. At first he is scared that he will not be able to be with them. Next, he has her in his life and is scared that they are going to go to the next level, ex. marriage. Finnaly, either one of two things happen. One: they bread up and the relationship ends. (This leaves a little room for error.) Or two: His beloved dies and leaves him alone, although he will never be without her.

sounds like something is about to work out and the person is sued to failing but even so , they wont back down . he doesnt know where to start or where it will end , or if it even will . its good to take things a step at a time , instead of seeing it as a whole ..

I think it's obvious, don't ever quit even if your losing. If you don't quit you are bound to start winning again and the feeling of earing something that you didn't give up on is something you would kick yourself for not going for.
