Okay, here's what I've figured out for the first minute or so of "Kickapoo," the first
from the new Tenacious D album "Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny." I tabbed this by ear
the MTV.com Leak of the album, so it might be off...

| As an afterthought: I heard the song sort of accidently while I was browsing youtube. After I had heard it I watched a lot of dio videos, espacially the ancient ones. And although I knew all the stuff, I just happend to realise why itīs him on that throne. | |

| has anyone else noticed - the riff in this (the riff that starts at the end when he sings 'rooocck') is literally exactly the same as the riff near the end of the Nirvana song 'Frances Farmer Will Have Her revenge On Seattle' - if u listen to that song like at the end it has that exact same riff. (well.) I'm thinkin JB does copy quite a few of the old rock bands song riffs.. hes changed this small part tho - also the other day i was listening to some music and i heard this riff of this song (i can't remember what song it was but it was an old like legends song) and it had the same riff as another Tenacious D song (no i cant remember what Tenacious D song either) .... whadda you all think..? | |
