| I agree with indiainksky that this song is about unrequited love. To me it's about learning about yourself and coming back stronger. It's a powerful song that says yes, i was hurt but having had time to reflect and get over you, i am back and stronger for the experience. | |

| This song is a classic! I love it, although the lyics could be taken a few different ways. I relate to it because I used to be in love with someone (unrequited), then went away for a year, and when I came back I felt so much stronger and wasn't about to let that person step all over me anymore. Very empowering! | |
