-AThousandMoons- I think it's about an ex wanting to see them. He says that he wants to "put together everything that's broken" and mentions a break several times.

Is one of the coolest song of blue, the lyrics are short but deep and beautiful. Is like giving anything just to see the person you love and you want everything to be okay with that person.

This song totally reminds me of the last night I spent with my ex... knowing he was moving 2000 miles away from me...I cried when I listened to it, it still is quite powerful, especially if you miss someone.

Unfair!!! i JUST thought of that Jackie-O reference, i never understood it, and was about to post about it. I figured that COULDNT be what that verse was about tho, hmph. Watchthefireworks you beat me to it, nice work ;) SJ is suuchhh a great lyricist, that reference is soooo good.

While every has picked out the Jackie O. segment, i think everyone missed the point of it. Jackie "O" with the "top down open" think into it... that is the true meaning to this song. It is about devotion, but a certain kind. for those that couldn't pick up on the quotes i put it... she's Jackie Kennedy with the top up she's Jackie Kennedy Onasis with the top down open.... think about it.

ugh this is the WORST song to listen to when you miss somebody... it makes my insides feel like they're going to explode expecially when he gets to the words "just to see you," the way he says them... it just.... it kills you.

The best thing about this song is that it's so short. That makes it all the more powerful and meaningful...

I think the Jackie O. reference is great. "With the top down open", that's great imagery, I can SEE her in that famous clip in which JFK was assassinated. That was her loss, so tragic, so symbolic.

With the lyric regarding jackie-o, I saw another meaning other than that of JFK's wife. Did anybody think that it could be a reference to Jack of death? And could the reference to the top being down and open refer to his hood down, as death reveals himself before taking a life? Aside from that, this is one of the most underrated songs, and the sheer power of the lyrics really move me. It is so simple, but what it conveys is just breath taking.
