| Humm..ten days late. No one likes that feeling at all expecially in a realationship. The fear of being 'late' can destroy a relationship in a matter of days. YOu really know if you are meant to be together when something like that happends and then you ear to protect yourself from it again. | |

| Eh, i think experience creates conflict (among yourself and/or others) and conflict creates deeper feeling and emotion...but I'm an Emo Kiddo, so I'm a sucker for an Emotional song wherever I can find one :):) | |

| it doesn't have to be just about pregnancy. 3eb's lyrics tend to take a specific experience and take it to a more general level. the general feel of the song is about a big change in somebody's life and all the feelings they get from it -- anxiety, worry. | |

| Humm..10 days late. If you have ever been 'late' you know the feeling you get all nervous, this could change your life. No one likes that feeling of helplessness especially in a relationship. The fear of being 'late' can destroy a relationship in a matter of days. You really know if you are meant to be together when something like that happens and then you learn to protect yourself from it again. | |

| I read that the song was written about Adrian Hurley, the band's original drummer, and his experience. Stephan is the godfather of Hurley's daughter. | |

| I really like this song!! One time, me and my buddies (Scott and Darren) were driving around listening to this song and then we smelt a skunk!! So we changed the lyrics of the song to "10 days SKUNK" and we'd honk the horny every time we said skunk! It was really funny. I don't know what this song means, but "10 days SKUNK" means; if you and your buddies are driving around, and you smell a skunk, it's gonna stink!! Whoops I just farted. stinky stinky. | |

| Stephens or someone Stephens knows obviously had a girlfriend(boo). She was late for her period. That person is a guy. The song is about all those feelings you have when you find out news like that. | |

| ok i feel kind of dumb asking this but do the lyrics mean the girl's period is ten days late or the baby is ten days overdue? it seems to me like it could go both ways | |

| i've listened to this song more times than i care to count.. and still the most powerful part of it to me is the choir in the break.. "time has come for you to choose.. baby daddies keep your boo!" call me ridiculous if you like.. but i think its all right there.. as the bloke said himself.. this song is about a radical change in your life.. and the decisions you have to make given the new situations you may find yourself in.. r* | |

| His girlfriend is pregnant and she is ten days overdue. This song expresses the feelings of an unexpecting father really well. Not knowing what to do, new complications to your life, and deeply curious feelings of anticipation. I always thought the line was "Baby daddys keep your booze," telling people in similar situations to not waste their time drinking off this blessig. | |

| I heard 3eb's new CD got moved to October or something now... why all the date changes? :( Anyways, this song is just about becoming a grown up in a split second. One day, everything is cool and the next you're gonna be parents! It sounds like he's not exactly sure where to go but they'll figure it out cuz now they'll always know eachother. | |

| I think it's important that not all songs are inspired by direct experience; Stephan has not gotten a girl pregnant, as far as I know. I agree - very good song. Third Eye Blind has a new album coming out this summer. | |
