| Seriously, they ripped this song off of Our Lady Peace. If you have not heard Innocent by Our Lady Peace, then buy the CD or something. Our Lady Peace deserves credit for the lyrics and the music.... I like Thousand Foot Krutch, but c'mon... this is going a little too far. | |

| I like this song...don't get my wrong, but it is exactly like the Our Lady Peace song...almost everything about it is the same even the verses. Both have only 2 that have to do with lost hope, here for comparison: "oh, johnny wishes he was famous spends his time alone in the basement with lennon and cobain and a guitar and a stereo and while he wishes he could escape this but it all seems so contagious not to be yourself and faceless in a song that has no soul" OLP Song "He tells everyone a story, Because he thinks his life is Boring And he fights so you won't ignore him, Because that's his biggest fear And he cries, but you'll rarely him do it He loves, but he's scared to use it So he hides behind the music, 'Cause he likes it that way" TFK song If you can't get the same vibe from both verses, then you have no musical ear...Even the second verse... "oh, and tina, losing faith in what she knows hates her music, hates all of her clothes thinks of surgery and a new nose every calorie's a war and while she wishes she was a dancer and that she'd never heard of cancer she wishes god would give her some answers and make her feel beautiful" OLP Song "She fooled all of her friends into thinking she so strong But she still sleeps with the light on And she acts like it's all right on As she smiles again And her mother lies there sick with cancer And her friends don't understand her She's a question without answers Who feels like falling apart" TFK Song Even some of the like lines, the cancer...are the same, The need for answers...It is all there. IF you can't see it you are blinded by ignorance like FORD, who chose to answer without even looking at the lyrics to OLP, and degrading them without even listening to their song. TFK were "heavily" influenced by OLP, to a point where they dirrectly copied a song, sure not word for for word, but they took the gist, the vibe, and almost the music. That is what gets me. And for you...well what if OLP copied the song, Gravity was produced in 2002, Phenomenon in 2003. | |

| r a b I can feel so much for what u are saying i can relate to this song pretty well to i tell lies from time to time so ppl will think that my life isnt so bland and boring and sometimes to make me seem bigger than i really am, also i like to fight with anyone about anything cause it makes me seem tough, and the same deal with me if i cried infront of my friends they would totally look at me in a different way i have one friend that i can open up and be honest with about my emotions and there is this girl that i really like but im scared to love her because i dont know how she feels about me and i hide behind music this song along with some U2 have hlep me thru some times where i felt like just ending my life, this is such a powerfull song and i think tfk has a way with lyrics and are one oif the greatest bands ever as far as the meaning of the song it is about just opening up to jesus calling out to hinm and leting him be in controll of your life | |

| Well, Eminem does the same thing. He has a song that sounds exactly like that mockingbird song, TobyMac made a song called Irene way before that that has the same music, Eminem made a song, i dont know which one but it sounds exaclty like "dream on" by Aerosmith, and we all know Aerosmith was here way before Eminem. I like this song by TKF ok, it's my least favorite on their album, but it still has a good message. | |
