| granted, the band is catchy. Yet every time they are played on the radio, i have to cringe cuz the lyrics are so painfully simple. "I hate everything about you"??? comeon. "No matter how hard I try You're never satisfied" please. be creative. im not just complaining for the sake of starting arguements, im a huge fan of ANY kind of rock, but i cant help but see 3 days grace as being somewhat of an embarrassment to the genre. | |

| ya, about the girlfriend thing, i highly doubt that...for sure its the parent-kid relationship here...i agree with kurtcobain_elvis, i've seen that version of the video, where they are performing in peterborough ontario, and that is where they grew up. so i would only imagine they'd be describing their life as teens, hence the parent-kid relationship theory. | |

| This song is actually about their hometown...being Peterborough/Norwood, Ontario. Its about growing up and what life was like with their parents...its a very personal song and i can relate to it a lot because i live in Peterborough and that..and go to Norwood a lot. If you look at one of the versions of the song you can see the Memorial Centre and their performance there...The Memorial Centre is in Peterborough and it quickly shows the "Peterborough' Sign...this song is definitely about life in Peterborough/Norwood. | |

| this song kind of annoys me. or at least the "kid/parent" way of looking at it... it's one thing to write about teenage angst and no one understanding you and hating your parents when you are a teenager. after about age 18, you can stop bitching. how old is the lead singer? i bet he's past 18 it's about time to grow up and stop writing about how much your parents hate you and everything. write some grown-up lyrics now that's all i have to say. i don't have any other problems with this band or their songs... | |

| i think that this song is more about a bad relationship w. their parents than with a g.f. at least thats what i read out of it when i listen to it | |
