| I think it's about being devastated over a break-up, then slowly realising that you don't actually need them "now things are coming clear" and then finally realising your better off without them "I should have known it could be so much better." Just one thing though, in the secong verse its fuck and fight not fucking fight | |

| One of the best songs on the album, its about a relationship where the guy lost the girl and gets drunk to get away from the feelings he has for her since shes gone. "I'm not lying, denying that I feel so much better now That you're gone forever" This part confuses me is he saying hes not lying but hes denying the fact that shes gone? | |

| To me, this song isn't about being happy someone is gone, I think it is the exact opposite. During the chorus he says that he's happy the person is gone, but the verses say something else to me. In the first verse he talks about how he can't believe she's gone, he's in apparent shock. In the second verse he speaks of getting drunk and fighting. To me, that sounds like someone whose devastated. I think he's trying to convenice himself that he's happy when in all actuallity he's devastated! | |

| I think this song is about his love either dying or leaving him, and he's trying to forget about her, so he's going to stay up all night, get drunk, "and fucking fight". but the walls aroung him remind him of his life with her. he's trying to deny that he needs her and that he feels better with her gone but it's not working. | |

| I think this song is about DENIAL. They split and he's trying to convince himself that he's happy about it, when it's obviously destroying him. | |

| I agree with platniumstatus I think it's about a guy who is trying to convenice himself that his better off without this girl while in reality he's missing her like crazy. But either way it's a great song it reminds me of this guys I knew last who left brokenhearted and then he just disappeared so yeah I can really relate to this song | |

| Just wanted to point out that this song doesn't only have to be about ex boyfriend or ex girlfriend. It could also apply to a former best friend, or even a mother or father. But no matter who you want to apply it to, it's clearly about bad relationships. | |

| When I first heard this song, it made me think that I'd be better off without my best friend.. and sorta kinda-ish boyfriendy-ish person guy. >;l Because he told me he loved me, then started dating one of my really good friends. And no, this isn't my name. [: It's his. xP HAHAHA, Steven sucks.;OOO It made me realize that i relate so much of my life to songs, and movies, and books that i've read. Well.. it's the real world, not a song. So, uhm.. thanks, song? ;D! | |

| well looking at the verses. the first verse is how a girl breaking up with a guy (could guy breakign up with girl, but song seemes to be more from the mans point of view) the guy is devestated and shocked. The next verse is aobu thow he gets angry and starts thinking aobut doing mindless htign out of rage or something. The last verse seems spilt into to parts the first showing that the guy gets over the girl, and also that somewhat hints that the girl begins to miss him, but to bad. | |

| Most of the songs on One X are about Adam's struggle with drugs so i think he's saying he feeling better now that they're gone forever. Cuz i don't really know why he would write about a bad relationship because he's married and really loves his whife...so ya. | |

| okay just a thought but i agree that the majority of the song is about being over someone and happy they are gone, but i think the those who say the person is missing them is true too...'I'm not lying, denying that I feel so much better now That you're gone forever' it's a very controversl and contradicting line don't you think? anyway...my theory, lol. | i love this song probably one of my favorite. i think you guys are rigth about a guy and his girl. i think its either about he was abused when he was younger and now the abuser is away from him and he's so happy about and is trying to get the abuser to regret what he did to him. or i thinks it about a friend that was really depressed and suicidal, and he ends up killing himself . so the guy is trying convince himself help be fine w/ out his friend cause his friend was just putting a lot of pressure on him and he didn't know how to deal w/ his friends problems but his friend was really important to him and he can't let go of him. | |

| First comment? Wow. This really is a beautiful song. Based on a relationship that didn't turn out the best, like a lot of 3DG's songs. It hits a personal chord with me, with a relationship that didn't end in the best way, and I haven't talked to her in a year. I thought I missed her, and wonder why she did the things she did, but in the end... "I feel so much better Now that you're gone forever I tell myself that I don't miss you at all I'm not lying, denying that I feel so much better now" It made me a better person. Well, that's my two cents. | |

| i agree with Tineke the songs basiclly about two people being together and breaking up.The guy is all torn up about the break up and finally he realizes (And now it's coming clear That I don't need you here) he doesnt really need the girl in his life after all | |

| the meaning of this song is very debatable....it sounds like he is really over the girl, but at the same time it seems like he really misses her...maybe he just doesn't know what he really thinks but knows it's best that she's gone. i'm in the same situation right now :( | |

| I don't know about the real meaning, but right now, listening to it makes me happy cuz I got rid off an unhealthy person, and he's gone forever. :) It's obvious that the relationship was never good, and he coud've never seen that, cuz he was blindly in love, now she's gone, and he can see everything objectively. | |
