| This is a wonderful song and I'm glad they featured it on Raise Your Voice otherwise I might not have watched it. It actually was a good movie, though, and quite sad. | |

| okayyy the reason why three days grace played in "raise your voice" was because they were one of hilary duff's favorite bands. okay, i hate hilary duff too. but i have to admit that i actually really like that movie, and i loved that three days grace was in it. so get over it people. | |

| This song is super good, and for some reason kinda reminds me of Thrice. Weird, I know. It's about standing up for yourself when no one thought you would. Maybe. Yeah. I don't know. I suck at this whole lyric interpretation thing. Blah. | |

| no. It's not on an album. I'm sure you could download it somewhere though. There's like...A live preformance of this song on that dvd that came with the cd. [ya. I bought the cd twice just for the dvd] I actually liked the movie...Aside from the fact that I sobbed throughout the WHOLE ENTIRE THING. Now, I'm afraid to play 3dg, in the car with my brother. Stupid. I know. But, still. Hillary Duff isn't that bad. I know her music sucks, but hell, if you were offered like...a million dollars to put out a shitty album wouldn't you? Yeah. I think you would. | |

| I've been searching for this song on iTunes for quite awhile now. If you happen to find it, could you please let me know? It's an awesome song, I was disappointed that they would play it in Raise Your Voice. What you said was spoken perfectly, Music Love. This song rocks! | |

| this song fitted perfectly in with the rais your voice movie, not while they were in the concert, btu after when they had the accident. as it is that last song they are singing befor, and the last line they sang was "are you ready?' after this the charicter hillary duff playes goes on a journy or finding her self again, and coming to the terms of what teh concequences of what happend after she snuck out to teh concert | |

| I reckon this song is about someone lying to you/playing with you for the entire time you've known them, and you've just been following along with what they want you to do ("You said your words, we've played our parts") and then you realised and decided that you should play the same game with them ("are you ready for this, this game"). Anyone else have any opionions? fish n' chips Tineke | |

| Alright, I'm gonna give this a go. If it sucks, sorry. "You'd said we'd never get this far You said your words, we've played our parts" Like Tineke, I think someone was lying to them all along, but with the first line it kinda clouds it up a bit. But, I think that first line was basically about how the liar, or the other person in the song, had told them (the singer) something about how they'd fail, but then the singer actually suceeded, though all the while the other person had none that the singer would get there, and only used it as a challenge to get the singer where they, the other person, wanted. "So, you think you know how this story goes Are you ready for this?" I think, in this part, the singer is trying to prove something, or turn the tables on the other person. "I thought you'd never come this far I thought your words meant something more" I think this part just means that the singer never thought that the other person would go so far just to get what they wanted, and how the singer actually believed what they had said. Okay, so I left out the other parts of the song because, in my opinion, they were really easy to figure out. Anyway, that's all, and if it's wrong, then sorry. I did the best I could. ~~LIvlo | |

| i watched raise ur voice for the first time about 2 months ago..and i saw them playing i was like OMG and then i watched the whole thing. the movies not that bad. but now i really only wtach the part up until the brother dies...because that's when the song ends. lol i feel liek a bad person now. i personally have had an arguement liek this with my mom. i almost used the song for fighting words. basically she asked me what i really thought about her (which isn't very good) and i basically said..well you better sit down and get ready for this. yea i made her cry. but basically i think the song is someone(like a musician's relationship with a bad manager) finally getting fed up and then going out on their own making it big without them and then coming back and rubbing it in their face that they were wrong and this person can do it without being on the controlling person's/manager's pupper strings. | |

| You people who are upset just because they were in a Hilary Duff movie are lame. It wasn't a horrible movie and if it weren't for the movie I wouldn't have ever listened to them. This is one of my favorite songs along with Home. If Hilary Duff sucked so bad then she wouldn't have sold millions of CDs and been in any movies. If you've never seen the movie I highly recommend that you do because you'd then have the right to state your opinions on Hilary Duff in that movie and see Three Days Grace perform. | |
