To me it seems like it could be about schizophrenia or hearing voices. 'So real these voices in my head When it comes back you wont be scared and lonely" Saying that he's hearing voices in his head, and when he's scared and lonely he hears them and then maybe he's not scared and lonely anymore. 'I wish you never told me I wish I never knew I wake up screaming' He's saying that he wishes no one ever told him that he had voices in his head, or that perhaps he's a schiz. He's saying he wish he never knew about it, and that it scares him and he wakes up screaming when he hears them in his dreams, perhaps? Though, theres always a possibility that it could be about a child scared of sleeping in their room because of monsters in his room or something. ' At night I hear it creeping At night I feel it move Ill never sleep here anymore ' At night, the kid THINKS he's hearing monsters in his house and he thinks he's feeling it move around, and he never wants to sleep in his bed again so perhaps he goes to sleep in his parents room? 'I wish you never told me I wish I never knew I wake up screming' A second meaning to this, with the monsters part, is that maybe someone told the kid about monsters? You know, scaring the kid into believing it's all true. He wishes he never knew 'monsters exist'. 'Its all because of you So real these voices in my head When it comes back you wont be scared and lonely' It's all the person who told him's fault. Because he believes in this monster so much he thinks he hears voices, he thinks they are 'so real'. And he thinks that when the monster comes back he wont be scared or lonely anymore because he'll run to his parent's room where he thinks he'll be safe. 'I know theres something out there I think I hear it move Ive never felt like this before ' He's convinced theres something out there. He THINKS he's hearing it, though maybe its something else but he doesn't realize or think of it that way. He's never felt that scared before. Though, this is all just my interpretation but maybe I just have weird views on this song or something. :P

Like other people have said, Adam had said in concert that this song is about a ghost that haunted the recording studio that they were recording in during this album, I beleive he said somthing along the lines "There's was this ghost in our recording studio while we were recording this album, so we decided to write a song about her, her name was Emily.."..It's not an exact quote, but like i said it somthing along those lines.... I can see the other interpratations of this song (besides a haunting) are also really good, and is another way of looking at this song. and...THREE DAYS GRACE EFFIN ROCKS!!!!

Creeping through the house, makes it sound like something that has always been there but he's just turned a blind eye to. But then the part about wishing he never knew, makes it sound like something that happened that he didn't realize was bad and now that he realizes it's bad, he doesn't want to think about it. (an example... a child gets raped then they go to school and hear that when someone touches you this way it's wrong and suddenly they're like "OMG! I was raped!")
