	the blue light, i believe is the tv/av button, press that and a blue screen comes up, but then again it could be a metaphor as blue light is used to mean gloom or melancholy, for those that watch stage plays. Maybe they have seen the documentary Outfoxed and are commenting about the media in that way too.

	I have something for Thricefold: Although I do agree with the fact that schooling is on the decline (in comparison to recent years) it is still far from pointless. Many people are learning things in, say, Calculus. They most likely will never have to use it again, and ask why they should learn it. The truth is that in learning that you expand your brain and allow other information to be stored. It works much like muscles. The more you work them, the more powerful they get. School is also a good place to open someone up socially... as well as close them. I have never let my schooling interfere with my education. - Mark Twain As for the song, antisocialkatie pretty much summed it up. I love how they used the term "barons" to describe the government.

	If knowledge is power, than ignorance is weakness. The few rich control the many poor. The truth is out there. The land of the free, who ever told you that is your enemy. Peregrine Falcons could easily fly away or even hurt the falconer. Once the hood is placed over it's eyes, it is rendered useless and controllable.

	I think he is talking about how falconers used to put a hood on peregrine falcons to keep them calm and under control, like our government uses the media to keep sedated and unaware of the truth

	I don't think he means blue light, as in tv....I think he specifically means a false truth. In another song by thrice, "kill me quickly" the lyrics specify color associations, "white from clutching my pride, red from cutting you, and blue from telling lies". So I think he is talking about the media "telling lies"
