	I dunno if this is right and I doubt that it is, I took the song meaning as sort of a suicide type song, yet he can't got through with it alone, to me it seems that he was looking for a way out but he wanted it to be quick, painless, and he wanted it to be with the one he loved.

	i think its about war, and how we need something to hold on to. oviously he wants the war to stop and kinda just wants everything to die and come back and have everything changed, no war.

	This song is amazing...along with every other thrice song. I got the feeling that this song was about war, and how killing one self can bring them to a new place where there is no war. The red white and blue reference points out the US as the place of war, and where all the killing takes place.

	I think the fact that red, white, and blue are mentioned along with death that this song is written about the base in which America was built on. He seems to be fed up with the killing and he wants to find the one he loves and commit suicide quick enough so they wont feel it, and when they wake up, they can live together in a better place where war doesnt exist. This song fucking rocks.
