	It is about 9/11, "we paid for the crimes with our blood." A very cruel and unjust way to pay, they destroyed our country as we all died, as well as our country. "Perfect porcelain skyline." The fact it was a clear and beautiful day when the planes crashed. And the title "Paper Tigers" fits. In response to what vanityisnotacrime said, it's not about our military, but fits Osama. Attacking us and being a dangerous figure but he did not realize the fact that we would retaliate, which makes him weak as a leader. Our band covers this at shows, and it's fun as hell to do. Powerful as all hell.

	i believe this song has to do with the novel Fahrenheir 451 because of the burning and the word "funeral pyre" which is in the last pages of the novel also the book talks about paper pigeons that burn. also the "light the world on fire just to watch it burn" could refer to the book because Guy Montag enjoys burning things and likes to watch it OR i could be totally wrong

	yea i'm feelin the september 11th view but i think it clearly goes way beyond that. "perfect porcelain skylines, shatterproof spires"- city skylines, tall buildings and what not... i think they say "they toss paper tigers from..." kind of to give the visual of politicians or top government officials running their mouths or whatever to us or other countries- you know, it's easy when all you have to do is the talking- and then they use the term 'paper tigers' to describe the people doing the talking... yea and then everyone else has hit up the rest of the song. hope my rambling kinda made sense. rock on all

	'They Preach To The Choir' Basically saying how they rally out their ideals to those who are already converted whilst ignoring the others (Bush Administration? The religious part could just be a metaphor...) The 'permanent daylight' could mean they believe they are shined upon by those who rule over us, possibly God. They say that they are on the side of God, when really they end up 'Lighting The World On Fire.' For some reason the ideals behind this song remind me of 'Image Of the invisible...' (and 'Hoods On Peregrine') I find those songs as rallying calls against a media manipulating institution.

	assuming the song is about 9/11, i think it makes sense that "they" is the terrorists and "we" is the americans. but i dont get the line "they toss paper tigers from their perfect porcelain skylines". anyone know what that means?
