| i love the bit where he repeats 'i don't know, i don't know'... it just sounds so desparate. and i love the harmony on 'i can't let go'. | |

| in the beginning of the song everything seems to be so perfect but when geoff says "i don't know if i'll cut through..." everything becomes kind of negative and leads to their screaming which is basically the most emotional parts of the song, | |

| again, i believe geoff is talking about a spiritual crisis, questioning all your beliefs, everything seems to fall apart. i interpret a lot of thursday's songs this way, but of course most of them have other meaning as well. | |

| I dont believe that they cant play it anymore. because I play the guitar and I can play it. I can figure it out. So if I can figure out their song, then why cant they? | |

| They don't cry when they sing, you're right. But you can write songs about relationships without crying about it, and thats what thursday does - extended metaphors, lots of the time. Sorry, but a lot of thursday songs ARE about relationships, and if you think that automatically means they're crying, I have to disagree. Poison the well writes lots of songs about relationships - they don't cry when they sing. Maybe you're right tho.. maybe understanding in a car crash is really about a car crash.. and maybe this song is about a yo-yo or something, which is why its called "wind up." | |
