"It's cold in here, a lover lost burns in ghostfire" should be: "Only a lover lost burns in ghostfire" I agree with Demonomania, it's kinda about young lovers ("It is unknown to young lovers intoxicated by spring") who break up and are haunted by the fire in their hearts. Great song anyway. Has a strange, haunting feel to it.

Not emo by any means. What the hell are you thinking? Anyways, this seems to me to be about naieve and oblivious young lovers. Those who know nothing about love and such, then get their hearts broken after breaking up or discovering the hardships of love. Like a fire that arrives after they have failed in their relationship or something. I can't really express what I think about this song in words right now, but this is about as close as I can get.

yeah, i don't consider this emo by any means. a lot of the old-school tiger army fans seem to not be as happy with this new cd. peronally i think this newest album is the best over-all. i think nick has really established his sound, and is finally breaking away from the afi resemblance.

"Ghostfire" is obviously the pain that someone feels after their heart has been broken. This song is a bit EMOish for me, and I can't seem to stop hearing "Some kind of Hate" by the Misfits when I play this song.. They're pretty similar, in my opinion. Although I prefer the latter.
