| This is a good song with a great meaning, and I really like it, but I can't love it because it's constantly mentioned that the girl who is being put down is in fact pretty. So what about the regular-looking girls who have never been told they were beautiful? They hurt, too. But that's really a small complaint. It's a good song. Everyone should see the music video. And yes, Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopez (the prettiest, most talented, and as far as I can tell nicest, of the three) was doing sign language. | |

| This song means so much to me...I have such low self-esteem and I'm always feeling low about my appearance, "This boy doesn't think I'm pretty so I must suck" "I have to change my appearance so he will like me" and hearing this song means so much to me. When I first heard it I cried because it said "If u cant look inside u who am i to put me in the position to make me feel so damn unpretty" and thats exactly how I feel. You need to look inside yourself and say "I look good to me and thats all that matters" because beauty on the inside lasts forever, not the kind on your face | |
