[verse1]
C G Am C G Am
Losing my anchors in time and laughter
C G Am C G F
Ten in the morning I find it matters
F C G F
But it's all right
F Am G F
It's all right, all right this time
[verse2]
C G Am C G Am
Pulls from the tether to rise and shatter
C G Am C G F
Caught in the wind for a while it scatters
F C G F Am G F
If I hear the call in the long light (?)
F C G F
No I will not fall
F Am G F
It's all right, all right this time
[bridge]
F G F
Never matters but for the loss of face
Am F
Gaining catching up with me
F G F
All these ladders rising endlessly
Am F
Leading nowhere I can see
(back to verse chord progression for the solo and 'ah' part)
[verse3]
F C G F Am G F
If I hear the cry, then it's killing time
F C G F
No I will not fight
F Am G F
It's all right, all right this time

| This is one of my favorite Toad songs. This song got me through most of my depressions because there was someone else in life that knew what I was going through. =) | |

| one of my favorites as well...lyrically this song is awesome, sometimes i read it just as poem...the reference to lorelei really fits, this song is definitely about depression, possibly contemplating suicide....but my favorite lines have to be Catching up with me And these ladders Rising and endlessly Leading Nowhere I can see | |

| this is a very ethereal song, very moving and sad. a lot of thier rare songs have this feel. i think this song came from him feeling very alone and like he had done nothing with his life - like things never work out right. a very sad feeling. so many great and meaningful songs and no one has talked about them!! please respond. toad is amazing | |
