| This song reminds me of my ex-boyfriend. It is a song he would have played for me. A totally good relationship and then he freaked cause I wanted more.... but I know now, it was more than he could give, more than he could handle. The chorus just reminds me of all the bad stuff we had....It was for the best though... A love that wasn't there.... | |

| A song about the irony of love. Obliviously, he's heartbroken, and perhaps a bit peeved about what happened within his relationship - describing what love should and shouldn't be. My favorite lines are: "I got to pick me up when I am down I got to get my feet back on the ground I got to pick me up when I am down" Basically saying that now he's on his own after relying on his former partner for so long. | |
