Badass cover of a song from Justin's old band,Peach....
Thanks to Lee/God for the help on this song in getting
everything all squared right...first tab too so it probably
looks pretty shoddy....this should get you through most of
the song and the rest you can probably manage....when I get
the time I'll post the rest, and No Quarter from Salival...
Peace....

ya Everlong, maynard has a way of making his songs better than the origional, like demon cleaner is better than kyuss's, this is better than peaches, calling doctor love is better than (i think kiss) and when hes with APC, his imagine kicks lennons ass

this has a pretty straight foward meaning but like i said in another reveiw it can be molded to anyones thoughts on what the song could mean.and it IS better than the peach version.

I've heard the Peach orignal, it's not as good as the Tool version on Salival. That is something you don't get very often, a cover being better than the orignal, but it is Tool after all!

Agreed that Tool's version is better. Musically it's mostly the same (I mean, it has the same bass player) except a tad slower, however Maynard's vocals seem to fit much better than Peach's vocals. Especially the ending "You lied!" part. After listening to them a few times I noticed they have slight differences in lyrics. Not much though. I posted the Peach lyrics a while back for anyone interested. This song was a pretty big downer for me around a year ago after relationship troubles. It was also the first time I heard it, so therefore by association, it'll always strike some deep emotion from me. "i really love this song, especially the live version" So...when was the studio version recorded? Unless you're talking about Peach's version.
