I think its nothing more than what it seems. A recipe. People look at the title and immediately think 'They worship the devil.' I really think its nothing more. :)

i agree with makoe, i was reading a tool FAQ and one of the questions was "are you guys nazis?" and the answer to it was "german does not equal nazi, dumbass" it certainly is a test, i believe. people are going to be freaked out and think its nazism while all it is is a recipe. ingenius!

i think this song is one big joke. I think they realise that Germans have the best language for saying evil shit even if its just a stupid recipe. None of that "non-conformist" -vs- "Conformist" bullshit. HAVE YOU HEARD SOMEONE SPEEK GERMAN LATELY, its awsome. Tool obviously know that, and they obviously know people well try and think of stupid meanings for the song when all it is, is something uni psyche students do in there spare time in order to see peoples reacations. (which is actually quite fun, you should try it) :)

paga105 got it i think... the whole thing's a joke. anything can sound evil if it's said in the right voice and language. think of what your dog hears when you yell "good puppy" in a really loud, nasty voice. and the irony is that the recipe for The EGGS of Satan contains several lines stating AND NO EGGS!!!!! hahahahahahaha Tool showing off their sense of humor once again, and proving that they are not always to be taken seriously

Tool is mainstream unfortunately, so many people have already bandwagoned on them, at least here in NY anyway. It's so f*cking annoying when a band has been around for a long time and you've liked them, then one song gets popular and bandwagoned and everyone's all of a sudden a magic fan

Also I am not saying this as a means of pro-nazism but Hitler was a brilliant leader. He just was using his brilliance for the wrong causes. People forget to realize how close he came to controlling the entire planet. If he didn't find a german scientist's idea for radar obsurd Europe and the US would've been under his control

I agree with Makoe %110!! MJK's whole purpose is to get his listeners to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX! Open their Third Eye and this is a prime example of it. MJK is using this song as a "filter" to weed out the weak minded sheep. It's Just a recipie for making Satan's Balls (like special brownies)!! That's it! A very good joke to suck in sheep, bleating for guidence. AND MOST OF YOU FELL FOR IT!!! Keep bleating Sheep and walk through the corals of conformity to the wolves den for the slaughter. Open your damn 3rd eye!

I read the translation, and I think its probably saying how ridiculous Hitlers plans were. How can you have a recipe without eggs? it doesnt work. Well, give me credit here I thought of this while I was stoned.

Hi! I'm a Tool-Fan from Germany, so please excuse the language mistakes I could make! Ok, I heard Die Eier von Satan and read the lyrics. And all I can say is: It's just a fuckin recipe!! I don't know how much foreigners associate Germany with The Third Reich, but I just can't see any parallels (don't know a better word) to it in the song. So the best interpretation in my opinion would be the one from Makoe.

so ThinkOutsideTheBox you're a psychic then? Cause your Third Eye is psychic shit. Its like the eye that connect to the spiritual realm so you can see things for what they truly are. Anyway this song doesnt have a deep meaning. Stop over thinking and over analyzing (a little Lateralis reference) its just something they did for fun cause they couldn't think of something better to do to lead into Pushit. Of course im not saying all the other posts were wrong this is just my interpretation. You should all check out Lateralis, seriously, i think that song is saying "our songs arent as deep as they may seem" which is cool as hell that just means the fans are deep and have been inspired by tool, but they are basically just songs. heh i just interpreted a different song....i need a beer

oh yeah on the whole non-conformist thing, dont you non-conformist realise that your just conforming to the non-conformist. Or didnt you know that conforming is a natural reaction to group situations. DUH!!!!
