| Great song, I agree that this tune is a slam of fakery and advertising. I really guess that utter puke does make a strong case for art. If you're good at slinging the shit and making look and smell like roses, then I guess you deserve to be lionized. | |

| Tableau Vivant is a "living picture", literally dressing and posing a person or group of people for the purpose of telling a story. Roman a Clef is telling a fictional story based on a true story so that it might be embellished or to avoid libel or slander. Advertisements show strong handsome men smoking cigarettes violently and women doing whatever as long as they're beautiful, large breasted, and barely dressed. They want to tie these men/women to the products their trying to sell to make you think that by buying these things, you'll be more like these models. But an advertisement is simply a story or at worst a lie. These products have little to do with the people you see lionizing them. I know a lack you've got that you're not even aware of, and I want to sell it to you. | |
