| It's about growing old with the person you love. I went to a Travis concert just last Thursday, he dedicated it to all the women in the crowd. | |

| I pretty much agree with what everyone's said but anyone know why there are like seagull sounds in the background in the last verse. It is just cause it's like to make it happy o.O | |

| I've found this song too late, now it just makes me want to cry. What if i never say: "and I'm glad that you feel the same"¿? I hope someday I'll find someone to sing this song with... | |

| Yeah, I agree.I think it's a very positive song saying there's hope for us, we'll find "The One", its about somone finding The One and wanting to spend his/her life with him/her and have children etc., hence the lyrics: "So now we're here and now is fine So far away from there And there is time, time, time To plant new seeds and watch them grow So there'll be flowers in the window when we go" The seeds mentioned in the above lyrics may be a metafor for having kids, but also just for the love between the two people in the song. There you go. My opinion:) | |

| wow, brokensword! that sounds awesome :) to me, this song was always about a guy who was lonely and lost until he met this girl.. he's so happy to find someone who feels the same way, and he can't wait to "watch the flowers grow" with her.. or grow old with her, as you said. its a really beautiful song. FAVORITE PART: "so now we're here, and now is fine. so far away from there and there is time, time, time to plant new seeds and watch them grow.." | |

| "Wow, look at you now Flowers in the window It's such a lovely day And I'm glad that you feel the same 'Cos you stand up, out in the crowd You are one in a million, And I love you so, let's watch the flowers grow" I love those lyrics! They're relaxed, happy and incredibly sweet! There's also something stable and secure about them. Considering Paul McCarteney helped Fran out with the lyrics (thank you jitka!) you wouldn't really expect anything less than an amazing song though. | |
