LDG you summed it up pretty well. I cant believe only 7 of us have commented on this song! Its definately my favourite Travis song, it has really uplifting lyrics, but at the same time i find it quite melancholy. Its totally beautiful though, the chorus makes me cry. Everyone wants someone in their life to sing this to them. \'Cos it\'s alright Just follow the light And don\'t be afraid of the dark In the moonlight You\'ll dance till you fall And always be here in my heart To me it says, whatever happens, I\'ll always be thinking of you and you\'ll always be in my heart, everything will be ok, just trust your intuition and do what feels right.

It's about overcoming our uncertainties and our anxiety about the future and just being happy. To me, the light is happiness and having no fear. Don't worry and do what makes you happy. Carpe diem!

I don't think this song necessarily has anything to do with Jesus...but if you take it that way that's fine. I think they left it quite open to what your 'light' could be.

I agree, I think the "light" just refers to the "right" solution. It might be Jesus, but I don't think it specifically means that...

Personally I like to think of this as a Christian song. Anyways I put this on a mix CD for my girlfriend...of course she loved it.

I think the light is happiness and generally being at peace with yourself. "Just follow the light And don't be afraid of the dark" The dark is whenever things go wrong or you start to doubt and lose faith, but if you follow the light, you'll always eventually find your way back somehow.
