| Did anyone else first listen to this song because it was featured on The Office? I agree that it's about letting your guard down and becoming vulnerable enough to allow someone else to see your true self. But more than that, the line "the love you bring won't mean a thing unless you sing" is really telling... It's not enough just to say "I love you." Those words don't hold any significance unless you "sing" -- unless you're willing to bare a little of your soul and trust someone else to embrace all that you are. | |
