	I'm not gonna lie. I think that this is the best fuckin song on the album, IMO. I mean, it kicks your ass from beginning to end. Dammit, the solo is like the best fucking part then it leads to that "Hey! Hey! Hey!" part which is the SHIT!! Then the chorus comes in once more and it's all over. It's the shit. Seems to be about abusivness to me.

	The song is not about an abusive family, rather, it is about bands that feed and send out despair to their followers. "You starve your children on neglet Then feed their bellies with fear Concussion bat to the brain" This is referring to their music thus sending out fear and being the bat. Just look at the scars you make Your terror makes your kids break A broken home just as you were raised With fist raised up to your children Trivium, I think, is making a point with the first and second lines that these bands aren't caring what their effects of music are having against their listeners. the fist in the air isn't a fist to beat people with but rather the fist in the air during concerts when the most anger is let out. Then, with the broken home reference is the fact that some bands take their anger and frustration and send it to people who didn't grow up so distorted as they did, thus it would have a negative and unwanted effect. You've made beautiful Now hateful You wretched life wrecker This is referring to the fact that these unnamed bands take something beautiful (music) to make meaningless and overly angry strings of crap. The hey's are indeed a statement like olli stated.

	This song refrences an Alice in Chains song: (Sea Of Sorrow) Trivium: "Open fire, on the desire of the man, open fire with strife we'll strike down the hand." - Shooting the abusive father and ending his ways. Alice In Chains: "You opened fire, and your mark was true, you opened fire, aim my smiling skull at you" - The father's response, hes smiling while abusing his family. "Your mark was true" meaning that he knows the one who shot him was aiming to kill. I base this on the fact that the drummer of Trivium has an AIC tattoo on his right arm, so I made this connection...
