why isn't anyone posting? this song is probably the best song on Ascendancy yet nobody finds the courage to state their opinion on it...where is are all the Triviumaniacs? C'mon people, show you're support for this great band...\m/

for me this song is about how we are all living under the cosh of religion, and that we need to break free. how we all respect erligion too much, and that it is time we start looking at eachother and asking ourseves if our faith is viable in our moder society

If you understand the chorus, it pretty much tells you what this whole song is about. "To wait for aforementioned dreams" (ex. heaven) "Time will only tell that the promised have been failed" (out of all the different religions, only one [if not any] will give the people the reward they are promised)

Incredible song. Great twin guitar part towards the end. Probly my favorite solos, but hard to judge cause these guys play a mean guitar
